October 28, 2025Emma Rawicz is an award-winning jazz saxophonist, composer, bandleader, and arranger from England. Despite her young age, she has already established herself as one of the most distinctive new voices on the European jazz scene.
She was named Jazz Newcomer of the Year at the 2022 Parliamentary Jazz Awards, won the Drake YolanDa Award in 2021, was a finalist in the BBC Young Musician Jazz Award 2022, and received a nomination for Instrumentalist of the Year at the 2021 Jazz FM Awards.
Emma has released three critically acclaimed albums — Incantation (2022), Chroma (2023), and Big Visit (2025) — all showcasing her vibrant tone, sophisticated compositions, and fearless approach to improvisation.
Performing in more than fifteen countries, with extensive tours across Germany and Scandinavia, she continues to impress audiences and critics alike with her dynamic performances and innovative sound that bridges contemporary and classic jazz traditions.
