Grzegorz Turnau

Grzegorz Turnau was born in 1967 in Kraków, Poland. He made his debut at the Student Song Festival in Krakow with the song „We are traveling again” (to a poem by Krzysztof Kamil Baczyński), while still a student of the 3rd grade of high school. He won the first prize, and thanks to it he went to Piwnica pod Baranami, invited by Piotr Skrzynecki.

Grzegorz Turnau has collaborated with such artists as: Ewa Małas-Godlewska, Anna Maria Jopek, Dorota Miśkiewicz, Jan Kanty Pawluśkiewicz, Zbigniew Preisner, Jacek Wójcicki, Beata Rybotycka, Andrzej Sikorowski, Stanisław Soyka, Magda Umer, Wojciech Waglewski and more. The artist is also a composer of theater and film music.
