During the PalmJazz Festival at the historic Rybna Palace in Tarnowskie Góry, Anna Maria Jopek enchanted the audience with a deeply emotional performance alongside Robert Kubiszyn (bass guitar, double bass) and Dominik Wania (piano, keyboards). Originally planned as a duo, the addition of Wania brought a new dimension to the music – expanding the sound palette and enhancing the emotional depth. The trio moved seamlessly between whispered ballads and progressive, folk-inspired improvisations. Their performance was intimate yet powerful, filled with subtle textures, rich harmonies, and moments of pure musical dialogue – a rare, close encounter with artistry that transcends genre boundaries.The evening concluded with an encore – “Dwa serduszka, cztery oczy” (“Two Hearts, Four Eyes”) – dedicated to Anna Maria Jopek’s late father.
